Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Initial mapping of building footprints was digitized through aerial survey by Photogrammetric Data Services of Virginia and is based on 65 ground control points installed using GPS by Anderson &amp; Associates in 1988. Since 1990, updates to new buildings have been manually digitized when new aerial photography becomes available to the County. For large developments, CAD or shapefile data is provided by development project's engineering firms. Site and building plans also provide sources for updates when available. </SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
